JAB37: ART / BOOKS / PUBLISHING / RESEARCH / LIBRARY / NETWORK

Leszek Brogowski and Aurélie Noury asked the artists who collaborate with les Éditions Incertain Sens to contribute to the pages of this issue. Alongside the artists, we also invited theoreticians whose research follows the same lines as our own.

'Les Éditions Incertain Sens: Artist's Books and editorial practices' is a research program of Laboratory Arts: Practice and Poetics (EA 3208) at the University of Rennes 2.

Leszek Brogowski is a Professor at the University of Rennes 2. In the year 2000 he founded Les Éditions Incertain Sens: which has since published around fifty Artist's Books; in 2006 he was the founder of le Cabinet du LIivre d'Artiste (for which he shares the responsibility of running with Aurélie Noury). His most recent published works are, Éditer l'art. Le livre d'artiste et l'histoire du livre, (2010). Ad Reinhardt. Peinture moderne et responsabilité esthétique, (2011).
